what you’ve asked

Common questions about working together.

How we work, what an engagement involves and where to begin.

Who is Fowler Partners for?

We work with boards, CEOs and COOs of businesses typically employing 50–100 people, across Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. We are a fit when the management team needs senior AI strategy and change expertise alongside its existing leaders.

How is Fowler Partners different from Conducting AI?

Conducting AI provides the software and self-service resources. Fowler Partners is the hands-on advisory practice. We use Conducting AI and its CAIO copilot to support tailored business mapping, strategy, roadmapping and adoption work with your team.

What does an engagement cost?

Engagements start from US$50,000. The final fee depends on the organisation, the work involved and the level of ongoing support. We agree scope, deliverables and fees after an initial conversation.

Which industries do you work with?

We work across industries. Conducting AI provides industry frameworks as a starting point, while our advisory work maps your actual organisation, customer journey and operating model.

How long does an engagement last?

A typical engagement runs for 6–12 months, allowing time to understand the business, develop the strategy and support leadership through adoption. The programme and milestones are agreed to suit your priorities.

How do we get started?

Use the contact form to tell us about your organisation, the decisions you face and the outcomes you want. We will use an initial conversation to assess fit and discuss a suitable scope.

What does the work involve?

We map departments, workflows and systems, gather and validate SOPs, assess AI opportunities and create a sequenced roadmap. Ongoing support connects leadership decisions, vendor selection and team adoption.

How do you prioritise AI opportunities?

We weigh commercial value, customer and employee impact, cost, feasibility and risk. That includes both improving existing workflows and reimagining the service or operating model.

Do you build and implement AI systems?

Our core service is strategy and change management. We help define requirements, assess vendors and coordinate delivery with your teams or specialist partners. Any technical build work is scoped separately.

How do you measure success?

We agree a baseline and measures relevant to your business before delivery. These may include capacity released, cost to serve, service quality, customer experience, adoption and new revenue opportunities.

How much time will our team need to commit?

We need an executive sponsor and input from the people who own key workflows. Workshops, interviews and review sessions are planned around their availability and agreed as part of the scope.

Can the roadmap change during an engagement?

Yes. We review progress and assumptions with your leadership team. Priorities can change as pilots produce evidence, business needs shift or better options become available.

Can you act as a fractional Chief AI Officer?

Yes. We provide senior AI strategy and adoption leadership alongside your existing management team, connecting commercial priorities, investment decisions and organisational change.

Can you work alongside our CTO or technology team?

Yes. We complement their technical expertise with business mapping, strategy, prioritisation and change management. We agree responsibilities so the work fits your existing leadership structure.

Is this only about reducing costs?

No. Efficiency is one part of the opportunity. We also explore better customer journeys, differentiated services and new operating models that can create revenue and strengthen the business.

Do we need a finished AI strategy already?

No. We can start with the business objectives and current operating model. If a strategy already exists, we assess it with you and focus on the gaps that matter.

When can an engagement start?

We agree timing after an initial conversation and a review of scope and availability. Contact us with your priorities and intended timeframe.

What remains with our business?

The agreed deliverables give your team a working business map, documented processes, prioritised opportunities and an adoption roadmap. Platform access, handover and ongoing support are specified in your proposal.
